Cristine Reyes is Sexiest Woman in the World

Cristine Reyes has taken the crown as Sexiest Woman in the World this year for FHM Philippines.
Cristine Reyes first became cover of FHM in August 2007 issue. She got 382,819 votes.

Other in Top 10 Sexiest Women and the respective vote are Marian Rivera (282,300 votes), Angel Locsin (266,233 votes), Katrina Halili (238,558 votes), Iwa Moto (220,945 votes), Ehra Madrigal (213,287 votes) , Anne Curtis (207,825 votes), Angelica Panganiban (198,236 votes), Pauleen Luna (193,917 votes) and Valerie 'bangs' Garcia (179,198 votes).

Like last year, Megan Fox is still FHM Global winner. Megan is the leading lady of Shia LaBeouf in transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

Swine Flu cases now 1,709

There are now 1,709 confirmed cases of influenza A (H1N1) virus in the country yesterday.

This is after the Department of Health (DOH) confirmed 848 cases of virus within a week, says Dr. Eric Tayag of the National Epidemiology Center.

New 848 new cases recorded, eight of these foreigners.

DOH reiterates that these should not cause fear to the public because the 1709 virus has stricken 1,485 that better or equal to 86 percent.

The 1,709 cases of H1N1, the 1,225 or equivalent to 72% are from the National Capital Region (NCR). Second to Metro Manila with confirmed cases of H1N1 in Quezon City, Manila, ParaƱaque, Pasig and city of Makati. Followed with most cases is Region 4A with 251 or fifteen percent. Followed by Region 3 with 113, Region 8, 42 cases; 10 Region, 25 cases; Region 7 and CAR, one ten cases.

7 cases in Region 6; five in Region 1; three Region 5; four in Region 11; two in Region 4B; one each in Region 9, 12 and Caraga remains safe while on the H1N1 ARMM and Region 2.

Meanwhile, those confirmed case are mostly from America, followed by China, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Australia.

Meanwhile, the leadership of Congress should not oblige congressman to not travel outside the country ten days before the State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo to prevent the spread of H1N1 virus.
